Bae Ice Cream-Retail LocationHawthorn Projects worked in a design-build capacity to build a compact modern ice cream store on the prominent real estate location of Kansas City’s historic‘Plaza’.To say this project was technically a challenge is to put it lightly. The specific location is one of the tightest and most challenging locations in a historic and complex site on‘The Plaza’.The design-build schedule was condensed and the complex MEP requirements made for some creative solutions in a short amount of time in a very limited real estate with very specific requirements. We love their ice cream which made for an enjoyable finished product.
